Hypnotherapy is a wonderful tool for unlocking all that lies dormant inside. It is a practice that heals wounds and changes negative habits, memories and experiences that affect the quality of your life. It can transform your life.
“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”
~ Carl Jung
According to your personal needs and choices, I offer Hypnosis, Reiki, Restorative Yoga or a combined approach. The combined approach is especially helpful for physical manifestations of emotional issues or for supporting deep inner healing. I welcome people from all walks of life to support them to take back their right to live with power and confidence. I can support you to release your old patterns, habits, challenges, and thoughts and be transformed and uplifted into the full greatness of your being.
Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness. While a person is in hypnosis, the conscious mind relaxes, allowing access to the highly suggestible subconscious mind. Research has shown that the electricity in the brain changes during hypnosis: the brain waves are slower than a person who is in the normal waking state. In this state, the alpha, theta, and delta states can be reached.
We naturally go into hypnosis when we daydream or watch television without distraction. There are varying degrees of hypnosis: some people go deeply, and others go lightly. Most people are in the middle.
One misconception is that people who are hypnotized are unconscious. This is false. While in hypnosis, a person maintains control and awareness.
A hypnotherapist uses hypnosis as a tool to assist those who desire positive transformation in their lives.
I obtained my Hypnotherapy training from the National Guild of Hypnosis at the Center of Hypnotherapy in Oakland, California.
I also trained with the Rewind Technique and other methods to support pain management and stress and preparation for birth and issues after birth. I enjoy working with children and teens too.
Some of the areas I focus on are:
· Pregnancy, birth & postpartum
· Anxiety and depression
· Pain management
· Reduce stress and anxiety before a medical procedure
· Self-care and confidence
· Habit control
· PTSD and phobias
· Achievements: professional development, school and personal growth
